Continue onward with Margust and Stilgard.

The rocky terrain was too rough for your horses so you worked your way through the Woodlands of Errouse. As you made it deeper and deeper into the forest you would come across signs that have the markings of the old language. You turn to Stilgard for you are unfamiliar with these symbols.

“Death House.” Stilgard said. “These are the markings of a clan of wizard that died off ages ago. They are probably being used today by some meaningless band of thieves. I wouldn’t pay any importance to it. We should be out of the area in less than a day.”

“Don’t like it Lord Bowen.” Margust said, “I have heard stories of these wizards and what they can do. They’re not to be trifled with.”

“Ghost stories.” Stilgard said

“Look there.” Margust called out “Someone is pulling a cart.”

The three of you ride up to an old man pulling a cart. “What are you doing here?” you demand.

“I am just a harmless old man minding his own business. What does it look like?” the old man said.

“What do you know about the Death House?” Margust asked.

“Just a bunch of kids up to no good,” the old man said.

“I don’t like it,” Stilgard said “Let’s kill him and be on our way.”

“Kill me?” gasped the old man

“I thought they were just stories,” questioned Margust.

“Better not take the chance.” Stilgard said.

Kill the old man and move on

Just continue on your way
