Lemon Syrup Recipe

    8 lemons  
    8 cups of water  
    5 cups of sugar  
     

And the juice of 3 lemons

     
 

emove the zest of the 8 lemons and then juice 3 of those lemons. Reserve the juice. The other 5 will not be used further in this recipe. Combine the water, sugar and zest in a small pot and reduce the mixture for about five minutes. Cool the syrup, strain and the juice of the lemons that you have reserve.
