Plot

The film sets the scene with Obama as an unknown entity and then as President of the United States in a short montage with music and video clips and audio while an electrocardiograph machine records the sound of a heartbeat steadily going into distress. Once the heartbeat flat lines it is off to the races with examples of media malfeasance showcasing video clips and an interview with Sarah Palin and others. A steady stream of incidents was given that show that the Media simply did not do its job. Someone in the course of events tries to give the excuse that the media was so focused on Hillary Clinton winning and because of this the Media was blindsided by Obama who they didn’t bother to investigate and do any due diligence on. Their main focus was making this out to be a horse race for the public and generate some good rating. They didn’t realize that they were creating a monster. But this film shows even in these early days that Obama past was whitewashed and his mistakes were cover up and every advantage was given to him. In one occurrence on illegal immigration Clinton was taken to the woodshed for something that she said whereas Obama was given a clear pass for saying the same thing — practically word for word. And when Bill Clinton comes to his wife’s aid he is called a racist and his comments are not given a serious accounting when he calls into question Obama’s record as a “fairy tale”. At the same time Barbara Walters calls Obama ‘sexy’ and Chris Matthews talks about getting a ‘thrill’ up his leg when he listens to Obama speak. Later the film deals with Rev. Wright and how that was covered up and not followed up at all when Obama came up with a “fairy tale”, to use Bill Clintons words, like how is it possible that Barack Obama did not know Rev. Wright said something questionable the Sunday after 9/11. The story continues and shows that the media silences those that bring up these uncomfortable truths and their sloppy reporting for not bringing these facts to the surface sooner. Then we are shown that the Media did more vetting of Sarah Palin in a few days than they did of Obama during his whole campaign. Making the baseless claim that she had an affair with her husband’s business partner and that her new child was not her own. Once these attacks had fail the Media decided to double down with another round and they wasted no time in doing so. And yes you can see Russia from Alaska. Thank You SNL. Then the Media uses another SNL skit to parody Palin who was taken out of context. Once it is made public that Sarah Palin was given $150,000 for clothes the media has a field day reporting this morning, noon and night. Afterwards the Media whitewashes the story with Bill Ayers and the weather underground. Completely disregarding Palin when she brings it up at the same time later on saying there is some truth to the story and trying to have it both ways. Shamelessly towards the end the Media plays the race card on behave of Obama knowing that McCain won’t push back because he is too deceit to do so; saying that McCain’s campaign uses “code words” that stand in for racism like “welfare” and “community organizer” and even Obama’s middle name, completely glossing over Obama’s comments that his white half is racist and needs medication to vote right and attacking “Joe the Plumber” and covering the comments Obama said to him that were very damaging. Comically the media starts going after “Joe the Plumber” and begin investigate him, like “Joe” is not his real name and reporting on his work history and that he owes money. And right before the Election Day a CNN host tells the audience that they have talked about everything they could possibly talk about, completely happy with herself when elsewhere Obama is saying that he plans to basically shred the Constitution and put coal plants out of business and start governing with economic justice in mind. As the credits are rolling Obama supporters are being interviewed and asked a series of questions. Who said they were campaigning in 57 states? Some didn’t know and others thought it was Palin. The answer was Obama. Who won an election by throwing other candidates off the ticket? No one knew that one. The answer was Obama. Who plagiarized a speech and was force to resign? Didn’t know that one either. The answer was Joe Biden. But when asked who was given $150,000 for clothes every one of the Obama supports knew that was Sarah Palin. And when asked who had a pregnant teenage daughter they all knew that was Palin as well.

Character Development

One damning thing after another, there seemed like there is no stopping it and I didn’t know if I could take it all in one sitting.

Acting

No Acting. This was a documentary with interviews.

Overview

It is unbelievable how the Media can square it with themselves that they have done their jobs well, just watching the last 5 minutes of this film with the Obama supporters showed that the media only highlighted the positive side of Obama and the negative side of Palin. Even when it was the plain and simple truth that Palin could see Russia from off the coast of Alaska. This didn’t matter when the Media thought that they could make her into a laughingstock and get even the dimmest people on the planet repeating it. How they would publish countless glamour shots of Obama with glowing articles that are so saccharine they give you a sugar rush while they endless ridiculed Palin senselessly at the same time. They really didn’t know when enough was enough. Even when the McCain campaign tried to fight back they were call racist and mean-spirited, but they weren’t being obvious racists; they were using “code words”. In a sane world someone couldn’t make this stuff up because it would be too fanciful. There is no way you can watch this film and not become overwhelmed by this calamity that is known as the Media. What happened about being impartial? On some level the Media has got to know that the average Joe knows that they are in the tank for Obama, yet it would seem that they don’t care. That must be the case when they have Bill Maher, a man who gave one million dollars of his own money to the Obama campaign, commentate on the evening news about Sarah Palin. With men like Martin Luther King Jr., Booker T. Washington and Frederick Douglass; why America would have to be saddled with and settle for a man like Barack Hussein Obama as her first black President is a colossal joke and the worst case of affirmative action and the steepest price to pay for reparations that could ever be considered.
