To whom it may concern,
I think this issue is important because it is directly relates to the nonsense that is currently going around in college campuses; with their complains of how their textbooks are racist, Halloween costumes are too problematic, and microaggressions are seen everywhere. This relates with the ideas of social justice (a view very important with the upcoming 2016 election) which connects up with feminism in general because of the omnipresent Hillary Clinton (as well as her shadow Donald Trump) who has taken the feminist mantle up, which this movement has taken issue with everything from how air conditioning is sexist
to the new Star Wars movie.
This issue that I write about is Gamergate that has been covered in the general media before, but not fairly or accurately mainly because there is a vested interest not to do so because Gamergate’s focuses on ethics in the gaming journalism. It’s so bad that all that opposed of the idea snicker when “ethics” and “journalism” is used in the same sentence. "Gamergate: Noob to novice" explains that rather well
There might be a complete blackout of Gamergate on your show, but a league of small time publications have voiced their opinions free of any facts because facts would show their opinions are baseless. Remarkably they told their readers and video game publishers that the people who spent their money buying video games don’t have to be marketed to anymore. That is like all the editorials across the nation writing that they don’t think that fast food chains need people who eat lunch anymore. But that is what these “jounalists” did, one day there were over a dozen articles telling gamers they were dead and telling video game makers they don’t need to be your audience, because they died impling lifeless people cannot play video games. Yet even when dead these gamers are still used as clickbait and a cudgel to Knock Donald Trump with:
THE WASHINGTON POST:
Donald Trump is the Gamergate of Republican politics
“Paradoxically Damsels have Agency & Gamers” explains this issue much quicker than the first video though not as well as the first.
It deals how Anita Sarkessian, a prominent feminist; a pop culture critic has in the last year started to denounce video games which lead to a backlast which she then used to jumpstart her fame and fortune. It’s import to note that she latched onto the issue because Gamergate is about ethic in gaming journalism, which was focused on game developers and the people who write about those games. Anita Sarkeesian is neither of these things. Sarkeesian has only become an issue when “journalists” use her to support their social justice agenda, a practice that predates Sarkeesian for years, but they are not the only ones that have used her new found fame. Intel as picked her up as well:
and the New York Times allowed her to post an article bloldly declaring that gamers are dead continuing the narrative:
Then she went to the UN and asked them to stop anyone from calling her a liar or that she “sucks”. Crazy right?:
A direct attack on the 1st amendment and I didn’t even hear a peek from you guys. She make almost half a million dollar last year. And to give you an idea why she is not liked - This is a direct quote from her:
“Everything is sexist, everything racist and everything homophobic and you have to point it all out.”
See how this connect to the college story and microaggressions. If nothing can be deceit to say you will lose your right to report anything and if he UN makes it so no one’s feelings it will be hurt - the same conclusion.
I would think you have a vested interest to report the news and give opinions that others might find upsetting.
If someone would report the truth they could crush the crooked media that supports these willfully wicked ideas of so called social justice and expose Hillary Clinton, who has attached herself to both feminism and social justice to make herself more personable. In one stoke it could be all wiped away.
I don’t write this as a supporter of Donald Trump, but as a proponent of free speech that allows an artist to make and sell what they want without fear for censorship. Don’t want the government or the United Nation to have absolute control. Free people should have the power over them, not them over us.
Melissa Harris Perry calling Star Wars racist:
Melissa Harris Perry saying “hard worker” is racist:
Video games might not seem important to you because you are always carping about the machines that people are using, only video games are a big part of our culture, equally both art and invention that make more money than the music and movie industries combine. They shouldn’t be controlled like the comicbooks were:
Anita Sarkeesian and Hillary Clinton are a lot alike. Much of their power comes from being women that claim to support feminism. Both are highly scripted that use the press to reach their aims and rarely if ever give interviews, especially if they are of a debate nature with follow up questions.
Milo Yiannoppulous from Breitbart, who seems to be the only one who takes on the campuse crazies, social justice warriors and feminists (sometimes all 3 of these labels can be used to identify one entity).
