Zero Space
I'm bipolar and I can never know what others know. What that entire classification of bipolar mean to most people is a mystery to me.
I can't say if it really means anything at all. I only know that Hollywood seems to get us bipolar people very wrong at times and they don't really seem to care about that, but on my more sane days I have to wonder if others, in fact, know they are continually bordering on insanity while others have clearly crossed that line with or without any mental classification.
Often the talk comes to what's a "safe space" these days; only the idea of space is very important concept. One idea of space, when it's a piece of one's mind rests when it can be at peace. It's impossible to have tranquility when someone or something is stepping on your toes. Dealing with people I try to get them to understand that you need to let go of things and you need to have some order in your lives or there is no way you can't get lost among total chaos.
One quote that really speaks to me is: "When a pint is holding a pint it is doing the best that it can. A pint can't hold a quart." Basically, with all things including space or maybe most of all with space you need not have all your carrots mixed with your peas and you wish to color within the lines more than you don't wish to.
Sometimes I still watch a new video that breaks down Disney Star Wars and points out the faults in detail. Doing that is fine, but to sum it up so you don't have to do this for hours listening to every single example. I find it better to understand where the major strokes are that show the main impact and not chart every waiver that didn't stay in the correct lane. To remember that you don't bite off more than you can chew and you also can't please all matter of people for a people as well as a room cannot be all things upon everyone and everything and there's never anything so vast that it mustn't have any limits. The only one with the weight of the world of them is God and I say you shouldn't care to carry that burden on your moral shoulders. Let it dawn on you that you can't use any room for all things. As you use a room mostly for one thing it becomes less useful for others and so there's less a duality in its nature and more a Darwinian winner takes all matter to it.
Much like a space of a room the space on a page of a story needs to reflect who the story is about. Unlike other things there's really a zero sum game. No matter how big a room is or long a movie for everything that's in that space one less thing cannot be and to fight that is pure nonsense and just leads to madness for how long it's tried.
Circling around I can't help to think about "Black Lives Matter" the political activist group and party. Forgetting that the so called movement was based on these fakes bits of lies you have to realize that two thoughts cannot exist in one's mind at the same time; even those of us who are bipolar have trouble with it. When giving space politically one has got to think how much black space do you have and how much do you care to give and what's not pandering when you do so.
Surely you won't be forgetting that when you say that something really matters this must be on some level you are pretending to think that the people you are speaking to don't know this or all have completely forgotten it because somehow black people who done everything in the world to stand out were forced to be hidden in plain sight this whole time. It's funny how the world now must believe that we ghosted them. One would have to be overly mindful to swallow that load without getting sick to the stomach. This is very much unlike using your kitchen table as a desk instead of making cookies on it as that's just not possible to use your kitchen so do everything under sun and clearly most people don't intend to do that. I suppose that said desk disappears when I was washing the dirty dishes.
In fact, some people don't care to cook at all and are quite rich and only eat out even while having very large kitchens that have top of the line ovens that hardly receive any use. Those that can't deal with any clutter really do desire to showcase their negative space and this enters into the concept in storytelling where two characters can't occupy the same space either.
That's why "Black Lives Matter" cannot have T-Shirts that say "Cops Lives Matter" or "Homeless Lives Matter" in their world view and desperately move to shut that down any of that from the public collective because they are thinking this space is only their space and not any of your space and every bit of this spotlight needs to be directed at them.
In Disney Star Wars they brought back Luke, Leia, and Han only Disney didn't really bring them back even though that was the rally cry from the so many fans. Instead they gave only some lip service and that is plain as day for they couldn't bear to give one line of dialog to Luke, not even a word, just one long moment to show he was really there, even when truly we knew he was really wasn't there, before the credits started to role. If Luke Skywalker were a piece of furniture he wouldn't even be a small nightstand, perhaps a paper weight if Luke could be deftly hidden among the other things on the desk. That's the opposite of what racism and sexism has become which have pushed everything else away in their massive wake and demanded that everyone must cage every moment in their smallest room inside their heads.
It's the old line from the gay gangsters after the soft spoken folks told the public gay people only wanted to be left alone in their own spaces to then rise up to outspoken screams in their gay pride parades, "We are here, we are queer and we are in your face."
Take something like Star Wars and a view like that removing the goal of telling a well thought out story down to the bottom of your To-Do-List if not there at all. Just image the storytellers empting out the room of plot and character development and then when filling in back up again with all the stacks of social justice then realizing there wasn't any room for the old ways to telling a story. That's old school nonsense they told themselves.
We here at Disney they don't care to be called Boomers as they are both mocked as sexist and racist. The woke crowd no longer has a room for that. The internet famous Jordan Peterson is known for saying "clean your room" as he is really telling people there's a connection of space and idea and how one thought can't be in the same place as another thought and when you completely color outside the lines you will be floating around, unearthed and forever ungrounded, lost within your surroundings full of randomness and crowded in the scattering of objects, amounting in a mental mess so when it comes to outlines it isn't a must that you use one, but after you spent any time writing 90% of your time should be spent in revisions, spacing word usage in verbal economics as space that's allowed to be reasoned with is space that's artful and is granted to make sense.
