Dead Supreme Leader Snoke |
You are right about Supreme Leader Snoke. There is no question about it. There is no way a storyteller can cut the head off the snake in the middle of the tale and not have the viewers wonder what the heck just happened. There are so many problems with this Movie that I could go on and on about it, but for my health, I just had to let it go. Still, you have a point here so I promised myself that I would only take a small dip in the discussion. The truth is that you could have gotten 100 Star Wars fans and broke them up into 10 groups. I know that one of these 10 groups would have written a better script. There are key moments that don't connect episode 7 with episode 8. The broken pieces were everywhere, all they had to do was put some of those broken pieces together. I knew the movie was off the mark, far off the mark, when the events of the two films were amiss. The tone with Luke and Rey was troubling. Luke wasn't serious. He was more of a clown throwing away his lightsaber. The writer did not see the last movie because their whole film had lost complete focus, the entire focus of the last film was finding Luke. There was not even a half-feeling of thought here? The Last Jedi basically told the audience to forget everything they knew about this new Star Wars Trilogy because they were starting over. A little-known fact is that if you take every single Star Wars film there is a time gap between the films where characters grow and stuff happens, the story moves ahead while the audience is not looking, in fact you could say the Star Wars characters are living their lives while we are living out our lives, but with The Last Jedi there are only seconds that separate them. The pacing was off from the beginning and the movie never recovered. MARK HAMILL SURPRISED BY THIS LAST JEDI FAN COMPLAINT....
