Talk your way through them. "Captain? Is that you? Have you come to relieve us?" asked the first guard. "That's not the captain." said the second guard. "Who are you and why have you come here?" asked the first guard who was working his way over to a large bell. "I just need to get something out of the treasure room." you say. "Nothing leaves the treasure room without the say so of the captain and you ought to know that. Wearing the uniform you should know that." said the first guard moving ever closer to the bell. Before it is too late you reach for one of your throwing daggers as the blade momentarily hangs over your head it catches the light. "Assassin" shouts the second guard. The first guard turns for the bell and you plunge the dagger into his back with a thud. The impact causes the guard to miss a step and he falls forward, but not before he grabs the draw rope attached to the bell, ringing it and echoing the sound down the hallway. Your only hope now is to silence the bell before it attracts any more guards. The second guard in front of you stands in your way so you reach for your sword and start swinging high. The guard blocks the blow with both hands clenched backpedaling. You cut low and the guard blocks again, but this time your blade deflects slicing into the guards right thigh. Distracted the guard doesn't see your next move which runs him through. In the hallway you see Stilgard dragging the body of the captain. "You think anyone heard that?" you ask. "You would have to be deaf not to have heard that." said Stilgard You hear voice down the stairway. "Get the stone! I will hold them off!" you said "I think we had it. We are complete box in here." Stilgard said. "They are not getting me without a fight." you say. |
