"Quick! Open the drawbridge!"

In a matter of seconds the drawbridge opens and the enemy outside the walls of the castle storms inside. Since you didn't warm your soldiers and didn't have them in position many were slaughtered outright. You give the order for the archers to fire and they do, but in the confusion they end up killing some of your own men. Then there is a volley of arrows from outside the castle hitting your archers. Margust is hit and goes down. You grab at him. He is dead. You turn to face the onslaught of enemy soldiers making there way up to your position. Forced to the end of the wall you push back throwing daggers and swinging your sword. Several foes fall, but the odds are hopeless. You refuse to surrender and fight on until a battle wound causes you to drop your sword and it plummets off the ledge and onto the cobblestone courtyard below. Unarmed and beaten you are led to the enemy commander.

"If it isn't the legendary Bowen" the commander said with a slick smile.
