Red Cabbage with Apples


2 1/2 Pounds Red Cabbage (shredded)
3/4 Cup Water (boiling)
3   Large apples (pared, cored and sliced)
3 Tbsp Butter (melted)
1/4 cup vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. flour
1/4 Cup Brown sugar
    Pepper
    Salt

1. Put cabbage in kettle.

2. Add water.

3. Cook covered 10 minutes.

4. Add apples.

5. Cook another 10 minutes.

6. Add other ingredients to cabbage.
