The Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, yesterday received Abdulwahab Mohammed Al Fayez, the Editor of Saudi newspaper Al Iqtisadiya, and hailed bilateral relations.

Shaikh Khalifa affirmed the important role of economy in bolstering cooperation between the GCC countries and said that the region was rich with natural and human resources which were means of achieving further development.
He lauded the newspaper’s role in highlighting the economic achievements of the region and hailed the Saudi Research and Marketing Group and its publications.

The Premier said that the special economic edition of the newspaper, which will highlight the economic and commercial exchange between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, would help bolster cooperation between the two kingdoms. Al Fayez lauded the development projects initiated by Shaikh Khalifa to improve living standards of citizens and said that Bahrain is rich with qualified human resources which has been helping the Kingdom attract more foreign investors.
