  Government Thanked For US Aid  
  The Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, yesterday received US Ambassador William Monroe who thanked the Kingdom for support to the US during hurricane Katrina. Shaikh Khalifa hailed bilateral relations and affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness on bolstering cooperation in the economic, commercial and investment sectors as part of the Free Trade Agreement signed between the two countries.
The Premier also discussed with the ambassador the latest regional and international developments. Monroe lauded bilateral relations and thanked the Kingdom for its aid to help victims of Katrina, hailing the Kingdom’s role in bolstering cooperation with the US.
