The Director of Conferences for BSE and chairman of BIPEX organising committee, Foaud Al Shaikh, said that the event had seen much more enthusiasm and participation than last year. He said that the exhibition had attracted participants from Malaysia, the Indian subcontinent, the Gulf countries, Europe, etc. At present it has 61 registered participants with a number of companies showing interest in last-minute bookings.

BIPEX 2005 has an added feature of seminars for property-related audience where issues like rules and regulations of land ownership, investment, land registration in Bahrain, online registration for land, Islamic and conventional financing for property development and procurement will be discussed. Al Shaikh said that the BSE had decided to establish BIPEX as an annual event. The event will be open to the public from 10am to 9pm daily.
