In the movie Pump Up the Volume, Mark Hunter, A.K.A, Hard Harry Hard-On has a pirate radio station in the fictional town of Paradise Hills, Arizona, which appears to be the combination of Paradise Valley and Fountain Hills. To some he seems to have all the answers and he is the voice that they have been wanting for, but for Mr. Hunter he is lost as any of them and he really doesn’t understand what he has created with his nightly messages and his oddball humor and his diverse arrangement of music that spans many genres and time periods. One-night, Hard Harry gets a call from someone who plans to end his life and after that moment everything changes for the little fictional town of Paradise Hills, Arizona.
